Who We Are
Jack Hayward & Co. is a family-run musical instrument insurance broker, established in October 1983, with over 40 years’ experience. We combine professional expertise with human intelligence - no chatbots, no automated forms - just real people on the other end of the phone. Over the years, we’ve handled thousands of claims on all kinds of instruments, helping policyholders cover the unexpected costs of repair and replacement when things go wrong.
What We Offer
We are proud to announce that over the past five years, we have paid out 95% of all claims. This is no accident, our extensive experience with what can go wrong has allowed us to design policies that provide a high level of protection, covering not just the repair or replacement of your instrument, but also the additional costs that are often overlooked or excluded by competitors.

When claims occur, they are handled quickly and efficiently. All our policies include the hire of a replacement instrument, so you don’t lose lessons, performances, or income. We also cover the cost of transporting your instrument to specialist repairers (of your choice) or manufacturers worldwide. We understand how much care goes into choosing the right instrument, which is why we work closely with our insurers to provide policies that cover ALL RISKS, giving you complete peace of mind.
