Exceptional tone with extended soundboard
built by son of the famous firm Joseph Obermayer
46 strings low D to extra G
Owned previously by David Snell jazz harpist and one time Principle harpist Covent Garden Opera House London
Sold to me through Jim Munson at Salvi Harps Endell Street London
Original date of this harp is unknown even after discussion with Horngacher but possibly around 1938 or later with a new soundboard in the 70's
It has been used professionally by me for 50 years - concerts recitals recordings etc a beautiful looking and sounding instrument
Not serviced recently and that fact is reflected in the price but regularly in the past by Munson and Harbour
In very good physical and mechanical order
It will come with a trolley, library of music and extra strings
